Walmart Connect’s (WMC) Emerging Brands sales leadership team is seeking an experienced people manager (Senior Manager) to help scale and grow our advertising partnerships across e-commerce platforms and in-store activations. This seasoned sales leader will own the portfolio strategy, accelerate revenue growth in key verticals by creating and refining processes to drive operation excellence, and hire and develop a team of experienced individual contributors (Partner Managers). 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Accelerate advertising revenue growth from assigned vertical 

  • Create and refine business processes that improve the productivity and throughput of the sales team  

  • Identify and address key issues impacting emerging advertisers’ performance and experience with WMC suite of advertising solutions   

  • Work within a matrix organization and lead, coach, and influence people  

  • Possess strong consultative sales skills with C-suite leaders, collaborative and innovative spirit, and comfort dealing with ambiguity  

 

Qualifications: 

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in building and managing high-performing teams  

  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth with emerging opportunities and established partnerships  

  • Strong understanding of advertising technology and data/performance measurement trends  

  • Deep understanding of eCommerce fundamentals and trends  

  • Skilled storyteller with experience communicating marketing opportunities to brands  

  • Ability to thrive in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment  

  • Leadership experience in introducing new performance measures, processes, and systems to achieve operational excellence  

  • Ability to move fast, be bold, and adapt in a dynamic environment  

  • Effective cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills

Minimum Qualifications... 

 Bachelor's degree in business, marketing and sales, or related area and 4 years' experience in business, marketing and sales, or related area.  Or 6 years' experience in business, marketing and sales, or related area. 

 

Preferred Qualifications... 

 Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing and Sales, or related area, and 5+ years' experience managing sales teams in Business, Marketing and Sales, or related area.

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00
