We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator in the United States, working onsite at our office in Sterling, Virginia. This pivotal role focuses on managing our Microsoft 365 environment, camera systems, servers, and access control systems. The ideal candidate will ensure our IT infrastructure operates seamlessly with minimal intervention. 

To comply with federal government contracting regulations, this position requires U.S. citizenship due to the nature of the work involving access to classified or national security information.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Microsoft 365 Management: 
    • Configure tenant settings, domains, and security parameters. 
    • Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 platforms (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive). 
    • Manage user accounts, licenses, permissions, and access rights. 
    • Implement security policies aligned with GCC High compliance standards. 
    • Monitor and configure security features (MFA, Conditional Access, DLP). 
    • Stay updated on Microsoft 365 features and security updates. 

    • Device Deployment & Onboarding Automation: 
    • Automate device deployments using Microsoft Autopilot and MDT. 
    • Set up laptops and workstations for new hires. 
    • Develop and maintain deployment images and scripts. 
    • Ensure devices meet security and configuration standards. 

    • Camera Systems & Access Control: 
    • Install, configure, and maintain camera surveillance and access control systems. 
    • Monitor performance and security, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate vendor support. 


    • Support & Training: 
    • Respond to IT helpdesk escalations. 
    • Provide on-call support as part of a rotation. 
    • Train employees on IT systems and security best practices. 
    • Create user guides and documentation. 

Qualifications:

    • Education & Experience: 
    • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience. 
    • Minimum 5 years of hands-on IT systems administration experience focusing on Microsoft 365. 

    • Technical Skills: 
    • Expertise in Microsoft 365 setup and management. 
    • Experience with device deployment automation using Autopilot and MDT. 
    • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting. 
    • Knowledge of camera surveillance and access control systems. 
    • Strong Windows Server and Linux administration skills. 
    • Understanding of virtualization (VMware, Proxmox) and networking fundamentals. 

    • Soft Skills: 
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities. 
    • Strong communication skills. 
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively. 
    • Highly organized with attention to detail.  

    • Certifications (Required): 
    • AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals 

    • Certifications (Preferred): 
    • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert 
    • Azure Solutions Architect Expert 
    • CISSP or other relevant security certifications 

    • Clearance: 
    • Current or past DoD clearance preferred 

Bonus Points:

    • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash). 
    • Familiarity with Azure services and with GCC High compliance. 
    • Understanding of NIST, CMMC, or other compliance frameworks. 
    • Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix).
