About the role:

As the AI & Blockchain Lead - Developer Advocate at Hashgraph, you'll have a unique opportunity to lead innovation at the intersection of AI and blockchain. This role focuses on integrating AI technologies into blockchain applications and exploring how blockchain can enhance AI solutions. You'll play a key part in shaping the future of decentralized systems by driving AI-powered solutions within Hedera's platform while also leading efforts to leverage blockchain to improve AI workflows.

In this leadership role, you'll collaborate closely with Hedera’s core teams to define and execute a roadmap for AI and blockchain integration, ensuring the platform stays ahead of evolving industry needs. Your work will empower developers, foster key partnerships, and promote the adoption of cutting-edge AI and blockchain solutions, driving the next wave of innovation in both fields.

This position is ideal for a forward-thinking technical leader with a deep understanding of AI and blockchain. The candidate should be ready to shape how these technologies converge and unlock new possibilities in decentralized ecosystems.

You may find yourself doing all of the following:

  • Building and Driving an AI-Focused Developer Roadmap: Defining and executing a strategy for AI-enabled developer tools and services within the Hedera ecosystem
  • Championing AI and Blockchain Integration: Advocating for and guiding developers in integrating AI capabilities (e.g., machine learning models, AI APIs) into decentralized Hedera applications
  • Enabling AI Infrastructure: Driving the development and adoption of AI-focused infrastructure and dev tools solutions on Hedera
  • Driving Internal AI Adoption: Working with Hedera’s internal teams to integrate AI technologies into core platform offerings and ensure the seamless adoption of AI-enhanced services
  • Collaborating with Ecosystem Partners: Acting as a technical liaison between Hedera and key ecosystem partners (e.g., AI API providers, tooling vendors, and enterprise developers) to drive co-development opportunities and ensure successful integrations
  • Driving Adoption of Tools and Services: Working with partners and internal teams to build, launch, and evangelize developer tooling and infrastructure solutions that enable AI-powered dApps and services
  • Gathering Market Insights: Identifying developer needs, trends, and pain points within the AI and blockchain ecosystems, translating insights into actionable product requirements and ecosystem initiatives
  • Serving as a Smart Contract and AI Expert: Helping developers design and deploy smart contracts using Solidity and EVM-compatible tools while exploring use cases for AI-driven dApps
  • Shaping the Developer Experience: Contributing to Hedera Improvement Proposals (HIPs) that enhance the developer experience
  • Engaging with Developer Communities: Supporting and inspiring blockchain and AI developers across social media, Discord, GitHub, conferences, hackathons, and other community channels
  • Advocating for Hedera: Representing Hedera at conferences, showcasing innovative use cases in DeFi, AI, and dApp development

Qualification Requirements:
