About the position

The Information Technology Developer intern at Tacoma Community College (TCC) is a part-time position designed for currently enrolled TCC students. This internship provides hands-on experience in IT development, focusing on coding, debugging, and testing applications within a Microsoft.NET environment. Interns will work closely with the development team to assist in creating, testing, documenting, and maintaining software solutions, particularly OnBase Unity Forms. This role aims to foster skills in software development while promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion within the educational community.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the IT office with essential functions related to software development.
  • Work closely with the development team to learn and implement software solutions.
  • Maintain, test, and document new technology initiatives in a Microsoft.NET environment.
  • Create, test, document, and maintain OnBase Unity Forms.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Knowledgeable with ASP.NET.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet web browser, and email.
  • Ability to follow oral instructions and work well with others.
