The Shipping/Receiving Specialist position is an entry-level role that involves assisting with the verification of identification and damage on incoming and outgoing shipments. This position requires processing shipping and receiving documentation, packaging and processing shipments, and maintaining inventory of shipping and receiving supplies. The role is expected to be 100% onsite, and candidates must meet Export Control compliance requirements, which necessitates being a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15. The Shipping/Receiving Specialist will be responsible for lifting and carrying cartons weighing up to 35 lbs and managing heavier cartons using available safety tools. The position also involves placing parts in the correct location after identifying and verifying part numbers, using a utility cart, and operating a computer or laptop for various tasks including cycle counting and order picking. This role supports the achievement of departmental and company key results and may involve performing other duties as requested or assigned. Candidates should be prepared to stand and walk on cement floors for extended periods and possess basic computer knowledge along with warehouse experience. The work environment is tobacco-free, and Boeing offers a Quit for Life Program to support employees in quitting tobacco products. Responsibilities

  • Assist with initial verification for identification and damage on incoming/outgoing receivers/shippers.
  • Process receiving/shipping documentation.
  • Package and process shipments.
  • Maintain inventory of shipping/receiving supplies.
  • Lift and carry cartons weighing up to 35 lbs and manage cartons in excess of 35 lbs utilizing available safety tools.
  • Place parts in proper location after identifying and verifying part numbers.
  • Use a utility cart and identify cartons by part number.
  • Use a computer or laptop for various tasks including cycle counts and order picking.
  • Receive parts and disburse to proper bins.
  • Match paperwork to box and prepare orders for billing/shipping.
  • Support reaching departmental and company key results.
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
