Join Our Corporate Operations Team

ECG’s Corporate Operations team has 100-plus employees associated with ECG offices across the country. These team members keep the business running, manage payroll and benefits offerings, ensure deliverables are high quality, hire and train employees, market our services, streamline business processes, and much more. Corporate Operations departments include Administrative Services, Business Development, Document Production Center, Finance, Human Resources, IT, and Marketing.

Your Opportunity with ECG: Marketing Events Coordinator

The marketing events coordinator reports to the strategic marketing manager and works closely with the entire organization to amplify the company’s brand. You will perform a diverse range of event- and marketing-related functions, including coordinating meetings, events, and trade shows and managing project timelines.

We are seeking an energetic and proactive employee with exceptional organizational skills to join ECG’s marketing team and manage marketing events nationwide. To be successful, you need to be detail oriented, highly organized, self-motivated, data driven, and able to learn as you go. You should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable juggling multiple priorities. You’ll need to be able to work with a wide range of personalities across all levels of the organization.

Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, those listed below.

Project Management

  • Own the contract review, submission, and execution process.
  • Manage the corporate events calendar.
  • Monitor schedules, production, and distribution arrangements and other details to ensure timely completion and quality control of event needs.
  • Coordinate advertising development, placement, and schedules, along with other sponsorship contracted activities.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and lead preplanning event meetings, timelines, and attendee lists with marketing and conference stakeholders.
  • Reconcile and track the event budget.
  • Work closely with outside marketing service providers to manage inventories and shipment details.
  • Monitor the events email inbox and respond to emails accordingly, in a timely manner.

Marketing

  • Promote uniformity and consistency of brand across all of the company’s business divisions.
  • Write and/or edit copy for event marketing communication, including social media.
  • Provide metrics and reporting to determine effectiveness and recommendations for improvement.

Our Expectations of You

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing preferred
  • Minimum of three to five years of professional experience planning, coordinating, and managing activities for B2B events, conferences, trade shows, and webinars
  • Comfortable with communicating and presenting to all levels within the organization
  • High level of creativity, strategic thinking, attention to detail, and project management skills
  • High comfort level with working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proactive problem-solver, reliable, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities with little supervision
  • CRM experience; Microsoft Dynamics preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Understanding of graphic design; experience or knowledge of the following tools is a plus: Google suite, Canva, and Adobe Creative suite
  • Potential for varying hours of work when required
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, occasionally on weekends; overtime is required for on-site events

Job Locations

  • Preferred locations: Boston, Chicago, or Dallas. Other locations include: Atlanta, Minneapolis, or Washington, DC.
  • Hybrid - with an expectation to be in the office one to two days per week

The estimated base salary range for this job is $36.06 - $38.46 hourly. It represents a good faith estimate of the range that ECG reasonably expects to pay at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to years of experience, special skills, and market changes. The job is eligible to participate in ECG’s benefit plans, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage; a 401(k) matching program; PTO; and other wellness programs.
