Full job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Receiving Supervisor to oversee the receiving operations within our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring efficient inventory management, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity. This role requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of warehouse processes, including shipping and receiving.

Full-time Pay: $20.00 per hour Schedule: • 10 hour shift • Monday to Friday • Overtime • Weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily receiving operations, including unloading, inspection, verification, and documentation of incoming goods.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy by performing regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and investigating discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams to ensure timely movement and storage of goods.
  • Maintain clean and organized receiving and storage areas in accordance with safety and compliance standards.
  • Train and supervise receiving and inventory team members, setting clear performance expectations and providing ongoing coaching.
  • Implement and improve inventory control procedures to reduce errors, shrinkage, and inefficiencies.
  • Operate and oversee use of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and barcode scanners.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry in ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Communicate with vendors and carriers as needed to resolve delivery issues or discrepancies.
  • Prepare reports related to inventory levels, discrepancies, and team performance metrics.
