What you will be doing

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Manager of Brand Media Measurement to join our dynamic marketing science team. The Marketing Science team’s mission is to build the next frontier of retail media measurement tools and techniques to measure and improve campaign performance on our onsite, offsite and in-store media.  

This Senior Manager of Brand Media Measurement role is crucial in driving our brand's growth by developing and implementing comprehensive brand measurement strategies. This person will be responsible for implementing a standardized and repeatable approach to upper-funnel, full-funnel and omni-channel media measurement for our CPG advertisers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in brand analytics, media measurement, and data-driven marketing. 

The position will be based inPleasanton CA or one of our main regional offices in Boise, Idaho, Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, Denver CO, Dallas TX, Chicago, IL, or Fullerton, CA, Phoenix, AZ.

Main Responsibilities

Brand Equity Tracker, Full-Funnel Measurement and Brand Lift KPIs:

  • Design and implement a robust brand equity tracker to monitor and improve brand health of our advertisers over time. 
  • Identify and track key brand equity metrics and KPIs for brand lift (awareness, consideration, preference, purchase intent, etc.). 
  • Develop methodologies to measure the impact of media campaigns on brand lift. 
  • Collaborate with marketing science research and data science teams to inform full-funnel media and measurement strategies  
  • Analyze data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for brand strategy and optimize future campaigns. 

Partnership with Third-Party Data Providers:

  • Collaborate with third-party data providers to enhance brand measurement capabilities. 
  • Evaluate and select appropriate data partners to ensure high-quality and relevant data sources. 
  • Manage relationships with data providers to ensure seamless integration and data accuracy. 

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of brand and media performance data to identify trends and insights. 
  • Present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership to inform strategic decisions. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

The salary range is $102,700.00 to $143,800.00 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibilityfor exceptional candidates. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked) or Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility). What We Are Searching For

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively. 
  • Working Knowledge of causal inference and incrementality measurement in marketing 
  • Experience with various brand measurement tools and methodologies like Brand Tracking Surveys, Net Promoter Score (NPS) and Media Mix Models  
  • Experience working with CPGs and/or agencies is highly preferred 
  • Experience with media measurement on connected TV, Linear TV, video ads and other brand channels highly preferred 
  • Thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, drive change, and collaborate effectively with a variety of partners 
  • Ability to provide structure and tackle ambiguous and undefined problems 

We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 
  • 6+ years of experience in media measurement, analytics, or marketing research 
  • Proven experience in brand measurement, media analytics, or a similar role. 
  • Experience with media measurement platforms (e.g., comScore, Nielsen, Google Analytics)  
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL)
