Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, provide excellent customer service, operate the point-of-sale system in an efficient manner, and assist in directing outside services when necessary.

Essential Functions
- Greet and welcome the golfing public in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Provide City of Renton forms and policy information to the public.
- Organize merchandise and operate point of sale system.
- Direct marshal and cart staff as required.
- Wash and stage golf carts as required.
- Perform duties of range picker as assigned.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, And Other Requirements
- One year of retail sales experience.
- Valid Washington State driver's license.
- Successful passing of a background check and credit check.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Point of sale and till reconciliation skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of game of golf.
- Ability to operate driving range equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively.

- Lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds on occasion.
- Work is performed indoors and outdoors with the possibility of inclement weather.
- Work evenings and/or weekends as assigned.

The City of Renton is recruiting for part-time, seasonal Pro Shop Counter Staff at the Maplewood Golf Course. This is a continuous application pool which means that during the season (March 1 - November 30), as positions become available, the hiring manager may request to review the applications we have received.
